How to Send Email Marketing Messages

The Email Marketing section allows the admin to configure email delivery, manage customers and customer groups, and create targeted email campaigns.

Navigation: Dashboard → Email Marketing

The Email Marketing section contains four main sections:

1. Campaigns
2. Groups
3. Customers
4. Mailgun Configuration

Note: Before creating and sending email campaigns, the admin must configure Mailgun to enable email delivery.

1. Mailgun Configuration

The Mailgun Configuration section allows the admin to configure the Mailgun API credentials and sending email address required to send marketing emails.

Navigation: Dashboard → Email Marketing → Mailgun Configuration

Configuration Details

Enter the following details:

• Mailgun Region: Select the Mailgun region:

  • US
  • EU

• Mailgun API Key: Enter the API key provided by Mailgun.

• Mailgun From Email: Enter the email address that will be used as the sender address for outgoing emails.

After entering the details:

1. Review the configuration.
2. Verify the API key and sender email address.
3. Click Save.

Once configured, the system can use Mailgun to send email campaigns.

2. Customers

The Customers section allows the admin to review customers who can be targeted through email marketing.

The admin can view customer information such as:

• Customer details
• Email address
• Email verification status
• Subscription status
• Active plan

This helps the admin identify customers and determine the appropriate audience for marketing campaigns.

3. Groups

The Groups section allows the admin to create and manage customer segments for targeted email campaigns.

Customers can be organized into different groups based on marketing requirements.

Navigation: Dashboard → Email Marketing → Groups

Create a Group

Click Create Group to create a new customer group.

Enter the following details:

• Group Name: Enter the name of the customer group.
• Group Description: Enter a short description explaining the purpose of the group.
• Customers: Select one or more customers to add to the group.

After entering the required information:

1. Review the group details.
2. Verify the selected customers.
3. Click Save.

The group can then be selected as the target audience when creating an email campaign.

4. Campaigns

The Campaigns section allows the admin to create and send targeted email campaigns to selected customer groups.

Navigation: Dashboard → Email Marketing → Campaigns

Create a Campaign

Click Create Campaign to create a new email campaign.

Enter the following details:

• Campaign Name: Enter the name of the campaign.
• Description: Enter a short description of the campaign.
• Groups: Select the customer group or groups that should receive the campaign.
• Email Subject: Enter the subject of the email.
• Email Content: Enter the email body content.

Recipient Name

To dynamically display the recipient's name in the email content, use the #name placeholder.

Example:

Hello #name,

Thank you for being a valued customer.

When the campaign is sent, #name is replaced with the respective recipient's name.

Send Campaign

After entering all campaign details:

1. Review the campaign name and description.
2. Verify the selected customer groups.
3. Review the email subject and content.
4. Confirm the recipient name placeholder if required.
5. Click Send Campaign.

The campaign will be sent to the customers included in the selected groups through the configured Mailgun account.
