How to Send the Web Notifications

The Web Notifications section allows the admin to configure Pusher Beams and send real-time push notifications to subscribed customers.

Navigation: Dashboard → Web Notifications

The Web Notifications section contains two sections:

1. Notifications
2. Pusher Configurations

Note: Before sending web notifications, the admin must configure Pusher Beams with the required credentials.

1. Pusher Configurations

The Pusher Configurations section allows the admin to connect the Pusher Beams account and enable real-time web push notifications.

Navigation: Dashboard → Web Notifications → Pusher Configurations

Configuration Details

Enter the following details:

• Enable Beams: Enable the switcher to activate web push notifications.
• Beam Instance ID: Enter the Pusher Beams Instance ID.
• Beam Secret Key: Enter the Pusher Beams Secret Key.

After entering the required details:

1. Review the configuration.
2. Verify the Instance ID and Secret Key.
3. Click Save.

Once enabled and configured, the system can send web push notifications to subscribed users.

2. Notifications

The Notifications section allows the admin to create and send push notifications to all subscribed users.

Navigation: Dashboard → Web Notifications → Notifications

Create a Notification

Enter the following details:

• Title: Enter the title of the notification.
• Message: Enter the message that should be displayed to the customer.
• Upload Image: Upload an image to be displayed with the notification.
• Target URL: Enter the URL where the customer should be redirected when they click or tap the notification.

Send Notification

After entering all notification details:

1. Review the notification title and message.
2. Verify the uploaded image.
3. Check the target URL.
4. Click Send.

The notification will be sent to all users who are subscribed to web push notifications.
